As part of its efforts to promote science, the African Scientific Integration Network (AScIN) is organising, in collaboration with the Obafemi AwolowoUniversity and its partners, the third edition of the Regional Colloquium on Physics and Applications (CRePAs).
CRePAs aims to contribute to the advancement of scientific research in Africa, build a science that will respond to the needs of the continent in which the major players will be African scientists based at home and in the Diaspora.
This biennial colloquium sets for itself different themes for every edition in order to adapt to the different societal and environmental challenges. The theme of this third edition is "Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development" and will take place from 25th - 29th July 2022 at the CERD of the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.
Objectives
CRePAs is a scientific event that aims to gather around a common platform both theoretical and experimental researchers, entrepreneurs and industries from Africa and around the world so that they diseminate their research works and innovations through oral and poster presentations. This hopefully may result into research (academic and industrial) collaborations among the participants.
Themes of the conference
Researchers from all disciplines working in areas that are related in some way to the themes of CRePAs 2022 are encouraged to apply. PhD students and Master’s students about to complete their programs are eligible to attend the colloquium. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply. AScIN will make an exception to accept female candidates in the last year of their first degree program. In the latter case, only a poster presentation will be requested.
Candidates are highly encouraged to submit a paper of their articles for the proceeding book. AScIN is working hardly to publish the next conference proceeding in an indexed journal for the benefit of all. Please find below the link to the proceeding submission page. Full papers can be submitted at the same time when subscribing to the conference; but can also be submitted after using the second link.
Only original and previously unpublished work on a range of topics related to the conference sub-theme will be accepted.
Closing of online submission of FULL PAPERS: 01 June, 2022.

The deadline for registration fees and visitation to the tourist visits is 01 June 2022. Registration fees for CRePAs 2022 are as follows: 50 USD for lecturers / researchers / engineers (Free for Students)
