The African Scientific Integration Network (AScIN) is an iniative of african scientists, working in different fields and in different continents (Africa, Europe, America and Asia).
In late 2012-2013, the idea about organizing a conference that will bring togeher african scientists working in Africa and abroad has emerged among a small group of friends. This idea will be concretized, and the first CREPAS conference will be organized in 2018. The conference welcomed scientists form 7 countries in Africa and some from Europe and America. The concept of the conference received a huge support from the participants, and at the end of the conference, everyone voted for the creation of a network that will institutionalize the concept in order to extend it to other projects.
This was the birth of AScIN...
The AScIN network goals:
Contribute to the development of science and technology in all its aspects
To create an international framework for exchanges, meetings and information both at local and international level for its members
Encourage activities at the university-professional interface in the field science and technology
To help and encourage the production and dissemination of scientific information in the field of science and technology
Represent the people concerned and their disciplines with the public authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) etc...
Contribute to the valorization, dissemination and use of the results of research and
technological innovationg
Create an emulation among young people, especially girls, in the field science and technology
Develop partnerships with organizations or associations pursuing same objectives
Awarding distinctions and prizes to natural or legal persons for the excellence of their scientific work
Awareness of the public authorities and the population on the risks particularly on energy and warming issues climate
Contribute to the improvement of educational systems on the continent through forums and
training in partnership with industry players.
